Hello everyone. I’m up very early today. My logic today is that if I get up early, I won’t have much to do and hopefully it will encourage me to go out and head to the gym. It’s just one of those things I really struggle with. I’ve never tried to motivate myself before. I feel I’m making very slow progress though!
At the weekend, I had a pleasant time decorating my house to make it more Christmassy. We couldn’t afford a tree, so we’re still lacking in a place to lay our presents under. I thought I would share with you what I have bought so far.
An advent calendar, just for kitty! I got this from Sainsbury’s. It’s a Dreamies advent calendar and Rupert already knows when he’s allowed to open it in the mornings. He has a good go at opening up the other doors though, even though he isn’t allowed.
I found this cute outfit at the 99p store! There are pictures of him looking much happier, but this was the best quality. He doesn’t seem to like the hat so much, so we don’t put that on him anymore.
I decorated my window with this reindeer and Christmas tree ornament and got a candy cane candle and put a wreath around it. Then I dug up some old fairy lights of mine to make this space very Christmassy indeed. These were all from the 99p store again. I would recommend going there for your Christmas decoration shopping dash – you can really get a lot! (Poundland is good too, of course).
Even my study needed sprucing up a little bit. I have a usb Christmas tree that I plug into my laptop and some green and red tinsel. This area isn’t fully complete yet. I think I’ll have a tree on the desk.
And of course, the one thing I have managed to accomplish 100% is the purchasing of my cat’s stocking and presents. I’m struggling with everything else. However, I have a few weeks to go!
Hope you liked my decorating. Maybe it’s given you a bit of inspiration, and hopefully I can find some inspiration from many other bloggers!
